What is slope?
The slope of a line is the amount that y increases as x increases some amount. Slope tells you how steep a line is, or how much y increases as x increases. The slope is the same anywhere on the line.

What is a linear equation?A linear equation is an algebraic equation that when graphed it forms a straight line. The most common way used is in slope-intercept form, point-slope form, or general form.

How to solve slope when you have a tableTo solve slope on a table you find the distance from two points on the table (both have to be X and Y variables). You divide both of these numbers to get your slope.

How to convert a standard equation to slope intercept formYou are just moving things around during this process. You subtract the 3x and then put it on the other side. If necessary you divide the y or "flip" all numbers around to make it positive
EXAMPLE 3x+y=5 y=-3x+5 -3x -3x |
